Profile Pics: Upload & Usage
Introduction:
AthleticNET is upgrading its rankings and live results to have the ability to show profile pictures for all collegiate athletes. There is a new place to upload a profile picture for bios on the roster page in your manage team page. Any coach, SID, or other person with access to your AthleticNET team page can upload pictures or drag them into place!
Use of Profile Pictures
Profile pictures are shown in rankings and lists on AthleticNET, and are used whenever an athlete's name appears on the site. If you are looking to use profile photos on AthleticLIVE, please scroll down to the bottom of this document and read how to configure them! For the regular season, profile pictures are only available on AthleticLIVE if you use AthleticNET registration. For post-season meets (conferences, regionals, nationals) profile pictures are available on AthleticLIVE no matter which registration platform you use.
Upload Profile Pictures:
AthleticNET has added a place to upload profile pictures on your team roster here:
You can either:
- Upload a Photo: Select and upload any picture from a folder or desktop
- Drag & Drop Photo: Using your official college page, you can drag the picture from an athlete's bio on your teams AthleticNET's page
Enabled Profile Pictures in AthleticLIVE
To use AthleticNET profile pictures, please enable this setting in your meets AthleticLIVE admin page:
It can be found under 'other settings' in AthleticLIVE admin setup. If you do not have access to that setting please email college@athletic.net or support@athletic.net.
