Set Race Director Split Definitions

As of October 2022, we prefer the Race Director Direct Upload instead of FTP. Please consider changing your process as FTP uploads will be turned off in 2023. This documentation does not apply if you use the Direct Upload.

Before preparing AthleticLIVE to accept Race Director splits, make sure you have completed the following tasks:

  1. Create your meet in AthleticLIVE
  2. Configure Race Director to work with your meet
  3. Upload events from Race Director

Requirements

  1. Login to https://admin.athletic.live.
  2. Go to your Meet Detail page.
  3. Click "Manage Events".
  4. Click "Set Splits" next to any event.
  5. Set your Individual Split Definitions.
  6. In the "Race Director Split Definitions" text box, enter your Segment Report Headings in sequential order and separated by commas. These must match the Segment Report Headings in "Segment Setup" in Tailor -> Options -> Results 1 -> Set Segments. You must have the same number of Race Director Split Definitions as Individual Split Definitions.
  7. Click "Save Splits".
