Coed Relay Races (Mixed Gender)

AthleticNET will accept coed relay results. They must be marked as such in Hy-Tek or other meet management systems. They will appear under the boys results and should be put in a division called coed. Athletes are not presently associated with the relay.

If the relay is designated as coed, it will have an X in the delimited results file that is uploaded, or you can self change it using a text editor and then paste the content in the upload page. It will look like this after editing:

In the above example, one relay team was coed, so the M or F (as the case would be) was replaced by the X. The other results are still reported as girls (the top two) and boy (the third and fourth example). The fourth line is the coed relay as girls and boys ran on it.

Once that is marked with an X it will appear in the upload screen as coed. Under manage meet > settings > divisions under the meet page, you can create a division called coed. Then in the upload, select that division for these results.

Next, on the events screen you will see the relay under the division with the event in it (in this case the 4x200).

And, if you followed the above steps, it will be in the meet results under the Coed Division on the boys side of results and distinguished from the regular single gender results.

We accept coed results from Hy-Tek, MeetPro and LynxPad and likely can from other software as well. Simply replace the gender with X or Mixed if it is not property reflected in most softwares. For LynxPad, we have specific instructions here and here. The reason Lynx Pad is different is that the event name must reflect both Coed AND a Gender to work correctly.

If you upload a meet that has coed relay(s) and it is not working correctly, please use the leave a comment section from the upload page and one of our reviewers will assist you. Subscriber meets, of course, get the quickest treatment.

You may also post the coed relay results under the post meet section of the meet page in addition to uploading them.

Mixed gender non-relay races can be uploaded as normal, however, places will not be complete typically under either gender.
